autumn deepens -
the first gap in the clouds
just before sunset
पतझर गहराया-
बादलों में पहला छिद्र
सूर्यास्त से ठीक पहले






autumn morning -
river-mist rising
and sheep's breath
पतझर की सुबह-
नदी से धुँध उठ रही
और भेड़ों का श्वास









after the rain-
the river
its weight
वर्षा के पश्चात-
नदी
उसका भार



grass tinder dry -
a stray lamb
grazes in the minefield
बिल्कुल सूखी घास-
एक बिछड़ा हुआ मेमना
बारूदी-सुरंगों के मैदान में चर रहा
