घर बिकने वाला है-
आलूचे का वृक्ष फूला है
जैसे पहले कभी नहीं




Easter evening -
the old woman gathers
her unsold flowers
ईस्टर की संध्या-
एक बूढ़ी औरत इक्ट्ठा कर रही
अपने अनबिके फूलों को







before I can admire
the poppy’s petals
the wind blows them away
इस से पहले कि उन्हें सराह लूँ
पॉपी की पंखुड़ियाँ
हवा उड़ा ले गई




mountain stillness -
a caterpillar plodding
across gravel
पर्वत की निस्तब्धता-
एक केटरपिलर लस्टम-पस्टम
बजरी के पार चल रहा





a chrysanthemum lights
the darkened garden
all alone
एक गुलदौदी प्रदीप्त कर रही
अंधकारी बगीचे को
अकेले ही
