Alive light-
in the middle of the great marsh
a little lotus in bloom
सजीव प्रकाश-
विशाल दलदल के बीच
खिल रहा एक नन्हा कमल






Sometimes the wind blows
from the north other times from the south-
autumn balance
कभी हवा चलती है
उत्तर से और कभी दक्षिण से
पतझड़ का संतुलन





Empty shells everywhere…
The souls of the snails only
on the autumn sky
सभी ओर खाली खोल-
केवल घोंघों की आत्माऐं ही हैं
पतझर के आकाश में





Full moon-
the shadow of the church
covers the tavern
पूर्ण चंद्र-
गिरिजा घर के साये ने
ढक दिया मदिरालय को





My stooping grandpa…
His staff becomes bent too
under the weight of years
मेरे झुके हुए दादा जी की
घड़ी भी झुक गई
वर्षों के भार से
